Celebrating Chanukah

The students had a fabulous time celebrating Chanukah. They had great time at the Chanukah Carnival and learned so much at the Olive Oil Press Presentation!

Thanksgiving, Pilgrims, and Wamponoag Indians

During the months of November and December students researched in groups all about the life of the Pilgrims and Wamponoag Indians as well as the story of Thanksgiving. As an end to the subject and in honor of Thanksgiving, the students were able to create turkeys and teepees out of cookies, candy corn, ice cream cones and nuetella.

Health Month: Fruit Smoothies

A great big thank you to all of our parent volunteers who came in to help make Health Month a success! The students throughly enjoyed making their own smoothies. Many of them even tried some new fruits!

Science: Investigating Sound and Vibrations

The students investigated how sound affects vibrations by tapping a tuning stick and placing it on top of a cup covered in plastic wrap with sugar on top. Students were able to see that depending on how powerful the vibration was connects to how fast or slow the sugar sounded.
