Historic Richmond Town

We took a class trip to Historic Richmond Town to learn what life was like between the 1700s-1800s. We visited an old home and learned about all the ways people in those days had light. Then we saw what a Tin Smith shop looked like and the types of things that were sold there.  After our tour we had the opportunity to create candles similar to the way they were made in those times.

The Life of a Sailor

Pn our field trip to The South Street Seaport students were able to explore what it was like to be a sailor. Students were able to observe with their hands and eyes all different kinds of objects that sailors used aboard ships.
