Science: Investigate Glacier

During this guided inquiry; Investigate Glaciers, we referred back to our big idea question: How do weathering and erosion change the land? This inquiry helped them to understand how glaciers change Earth’s surface. The students worked in groups to create a glacier model with the following materials: water, cornstarch, soil, sand and rocks.

Cursive

Cursive has gone off without a hitch!! The students are always so excited to learn how to write a new letter. They often compare letters in English cursive to letters in Russian Cursive. 

Purim Festivities

The students had a great time throughout all of our Purim Festivities which included an assembly where students could wear a hat of their choice, and then a day full of dress up, making shalach manot for each other and cards.
